On Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, Daniel Allen Templeton, loving father, passed away at the age of 73.
Dan was born on October 10th, 1948, in Cedar Hill, TX to David and Ida Bell Templeton. Dan had many successful careers; Training & Development at Rockwell International, Financial Consulting at EFHutton/ShearsonLehman, a Professor of Photography at Aims Community College, and 10 years as a "Foreign Expert" in China at Hebei Normal University.
Dan raised two children, Koehn and Emily, in Greeley, CO, with ex-spouse Anita Morris. He loved cooking for his family and friends and even invented an award-winning chocolate omelet, tangerine crème Brule, chocolate ganache cake, and other delicious treats.
He had an infectious curiosity for life and brought joy to each person he encountered.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, David, his mother, Ida Bell, and sisters, Debbie and Janie. He is survived by his ex-spouse Anita, his two children, Koehn and Emily, his two sisters, Cathy and Paula, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Following our father's wishes, we will be holding a private celebration of life and spreading his ashes at a later date in all of the places he was at peace in life.
