David Barnes Foos

David Barnes Foos, age 59, of Fort Collins, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord on September 4th, 2015. He passed peacefully in his home with loved ones by his side. David was born on December 24th, 1955 in Victorville, California to Robert and Sunny Foos. David has one sister - Claudia and two brothers - Michael and Robert. He served in the army for 3 years, and left with an honorable discharge. David married Evelyn Wilke on February 21, 1987 in Pasadena, California. David and Evelyn were blessed with two daughters, Rebecca, born August 10, 1989, and Rose, born August 31, 1993. After spending much of his life in Southern California, the family lived in Wisconsin, Kansas, and now Colorado. David was a builder, gardener, and avid bicyclist. He was a faithful and active member of Immanuel Community Church, consistently serving and outpouring with his gifts and talents. He was a unique soul - gentle, mostly goofy, occasionally grumpy. He is survived by his sister Claudia, brother Robert, brother Michael, wife Evelyn, daughter Rebecca, and daughter Rose. He is predeceased by his father Robert Foos, mother Sunny Foos, and beloved cat, Tiah. He cherished and loved his family and friends, and is now waiting for all of them in his eternal home.
