David M. Genochio

David Michael Genochio - known as "Davey" to his family, no matter how hard he tried to convince them to call him "David" - passed away peacefully at Lake Loveland, near his home in Fort Collins, Colorado, on June 25, 2025, at the age of 38. Davey was born in San Jose, California to George David and Mary Elise Genochio on January 18, 1987, who were as delighted to be his parents as his sister, Christie, was to have him for a little brother.

Davey is survived by his siblings: Christie, Robby, Joey, and Henry. Henry is actually the family dog, but he was promoted to the rank of sibling years ago and Davey would surely rank him among his favorites.

Davey was a talented athlete, a loyal sports fan, an avid gamer, a lover of hot brownies and cold mint chip ice cream, and a worthy opponent in a philosophical debate. He was smart and creative, compassionate and generous; he was a great many things in his too-short life, and now he will be forever loved and missed.
