David Morton

David Charles Morton left this Earth on January 2, 2021 to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior. He was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery with full military honors on January 11, 2021. David served his Country with dedication and honor in the United States Army and United States Air Force. He loved deeply and was dedicated and committed to his Heavenly Father, family, and friends. During his life he brought much love and joy to those around him. His laugh was infectious, and he was a brilliant man who held love deeply, privately, and was passionate about his wife, children, and grandchildren! He was always a seeker of truth. David .. Dave .. Dad .. Papa Bear .. Gandy .. You are deeply missed by all of us that loved and cherished you. You proved you were a beautiful son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. You ran the race and fought the fight, now you are resting in the arms of Jesus. We miss you.

Some of Dave's favorite verses in the Bible ... Psalm 30:4-5 "Sing praises to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 31 :7-8 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, for You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place. Amen!
