David Lawrence Richman

David Lawrence Richman, age 81, died at Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility in Fort Collins, Colorado on Saturday, January 26, 2013. The cause was post-surgical complications.

Born May 1, 1931, in New York City, NY, he was the only child of Tina and Nat Richman. He lived in Buffalo, NY and Rochester, NY before settling in South Orange, NJ with Melvina, his wife of 55 years, and their four children, Natalie of Fort Collins, CO, Howard of Jersey City, NJ, Kenneth of Wellesley, MA and Martin of Worcester, MA, all of whom survive him, as do four grandchildren, Miriam, Noah, Anson and Joss. David was a graduate of NYU School of Engineering and held an MBA from The University of Buffalo. Long-time proprietor of Lyme Rock Country Store and Gallery in East Brunswick, NJ, he was an award-winning mosaicist whose most recent exhibition is still on display at the Thompson Valley Art League's Lincoln Gallery in downtown Loveland, CO.

The family is grateful for the warmth and professionalism of David's caregivers at Columbine West during his final days. In lieu of flowers, cards and letters with fond memories are welcome and should be mailed to Melvina Richman, c/o Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility, 940 Worthington Circle, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Also invited are memorial contributions to The Lincoln Gallery and Thompson Valley Art League, 429 N. Lincoln Avenue, P.O. Box 1055, Loveland, CO 80537.
