Deborah A. Schmidt

Deborah A. Schmidt, 65, of Timnath, CO, passed away November 23, 2021, in Fort Collins, CO. Deb was born August 5, 1956, to Clyde and Kay (Ross) Gillogly in Parsons, KS. She was raised with four siblings and moved all around the United States because of her father's career as a cattle buyer.
Deb met her future husband, Michael F. Schmidt, while attending college in Hays, KS. They were married July 1, 1978, settled in Greeley, CO, in 1983. Together they had two children, John R. Schmidt and Aaron J. Schmidt. Deb and her husband were co-owners of Imperial Drilling Fluids. Deb had a love for antiques, crafts, faith, and family – especially her grandchildren.

Deb is survived by her husband, Mike Schmidt of Timnath, CO, son John (Sara) Schmidt of Fort Collins, CO, and their children Lochlan, Colton, Toryn, and Madilyn. Son Aaron Schmidt of Fort Collins, CO. Also, Deb is survived by her mother, Kay Gillogly of Timnath, CO, sister Mary Kay (Mike) O'Grady of Panora, IA, brother Mike (Cheryl) Gillogly of Cheyenne, WY, brother Bob (Deb) Gillogly of Omaha, NE, and brother Tim (Christy) Gillogly of Hays, KS. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Visitation Service is at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Collins, Monday, November 29, 2021 at 6 PM followed by the Rosary at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Collins, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Garden in Fort Collins, CO. Reception to follow burial.
