Dennis Freeburg passed away at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado on November 22, 2013
Dennis Samuel Freeburg was born June 19, 1935 to Leroy and Helen(haugland) Freeburg at Porter Memorial Hospital, Denver Colorado. Shortly thereafter his parents moved to Utah. They next moved to Saratoga, Wyoming, while Dennis was a child. Dennis moved to Fort Collins in 1963. Dennis graduated from high school and went to Laramie, WY for one year of college. He served his country in the US Army for six years at Fort Bragg, NC. He was a journeyman lineman for Fort Collins Power and Light company. He was a good writer of stories and poetry.
He was preceded in death by his father Leroy, Mother Helen, and Brother John Ray. Dennis is survived by his wife Dewana Beltz Freeburg of 30 years. He was her true love. Daughter Sherry Holliday who lives in Fort Collins, a son Leroy Freeburg from Juneau, Alaska, Son Dennis Samuel Freeburg Jr. from Las Vegas, Nevada, five grand children and Judee and family considered as his niece.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Fort Collins Seventh Day Adventist Church, 502 E. Pitkin Street.
