Diana Renee Hutcheson, 53, passed away unexpectedly on April 30th, 2014 in Port Ludlow, Washington. She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on October 4, 1960 to Billie Lee and Betty Darlene (Vannorsdel) Hutcheson.
Diana and George were married on July 13, 2001, and moved to Washington to be closer to her father. She was a very smart young lady who graduated with honors from Colorado State University before gaining a Masters Degree from University of Denver. She was very passionate about her career as a patient's rights advocate and was a caring woman who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by husband, George Klind and his family; son, Dana Severin Hutcheson (wife Rachel) of whom she was very proud. Her parents, Billie Lee and Betty Darlene; brothers, Martin Lee Hutcheson and Billie LeRoy Hutcheson (their families) and numerous step-brothers and step-sisters; including Kenny Tyler, with whom she was very close.
A memorial will be held at their home in Washington on May 24th, followed by a memorial in Fort Collins in the summer; date to be determined.
Donations in memory of Diana may be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), who cared for her husband, at P.O. Box 19023, Seattle WA 98109.
