Diana Richards Mangelsen, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, died peacefully at her home near Laporte, Colorado following a lengthy illness at the age of 72.
She was born and raised in Brush, Colorado and spent most of her earlier adult life in Loveland, Colorado.
Diana enjoyed her hobbies of sewing and spending time in nature, especially the mountains.
Most important in her life was spending time with her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband: Don Mangelsen; children: Son, Terry and wife, Mary Lohnes of Portland, Oregon; and son, Brett and wife, Rene Lohnes of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren: Nick, and Jared Lohnes, Cynthia Lohnes and Lucas Berry; siblings: Ron Richards; Dave and wife, Karen Richards. She is also survived by her niece: Ellen and husband, Kevin O'Konek; nephew: Jason and wife, Samantha Richards; great-nephews: Mark Richards and Logan O'Konek; great-niece: Mina Richards.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents: Mark and Eva Richards; and daughter: Heidi Lohnes Berry.
A Celebration of Diana's life will be held Saturday, July 27th at 2:00 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Dr., Suite E., Fort Collins, CO. A reception will follow service at the same location.
