Diana Rose Nation

Oct 1, 1958 — Oct 12, 2024

Diana Rose Nation (Gilsdorf), 66, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was born on October 1, 1958, in Fort Collins.

Diane grew up in the Fort Collins/Windsor area, she enjoyed an active childhood on the farm with her six brothers and two sisters. She was a proud graduate of Windsor High School in 1977, and then went on to attend trade school in Texas, where she became a licensed cosmetologist. After returning to Colorado, Diane continued her cosmetology career in Fort Collins and eventually launched her own cleaning business, "Diane's Premium Cleaning". Most recently, Diane worked with Seniors Helping Seniors in Loveland, providing caregiving services for the elderly, which was her true passion. Caring for others brought Diane genuine happiness, and she found fulfillment in making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Diane was a lover of music and dancing; you could always find her cooking in the kitchen while doing the "jitterbug". She was an enthusiastic foodie who enjoyed spending time outdoors with her dog, Rose. Diane had a gift for seeing the good in every situation and in everyone she spent time with, often taking on a motherly role to those around her; she was known as a mother to all. Those who knew Diane enjoyed spending time with her; her vibrant personality and beautiful outlook on life brought positivity to every gathering- her aura was always bright. She cherished time spent with her children, family, and friends, and embraced her faith in the lord wholeheartedly. Diane's devotion to fully embracing every moment in her daily life was true. Her infectious laughter and warm, loving presence will be fondly remembered, and her legacy will endure.
