Dillard Lee "Skip" Clancy age 79 of Loveland, Colorado died on Friday May 10th at his home, following a short but brave battle with cancer. He was born in Los Angeles, California in 1939 to Lee and Sylvia Clancy. He was born the youngest of 2 sons. He was married on June 23, 2005 to Linda (Stephens) Clancy. He was most recently employed by Lowes in Loveland. Skip and Linda recently moved to Greeley. Skip enjoyed spending time attending dog shows, the rodeo and stampedes. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the mountains with his friends. Skip is survived by his best friend and wife Linda K. Clancy and his children by a previous marriage Terri (Kevin) Stone of Pottstown, PA, Toni Matos of Manteca, CA., Tammi Clancy of Charleston, IL., and Michael (Laurie) Clancy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 nephews, Danny Clancy Jr. and Mark Clancy. He was a pet parent of 4 Basenji dogs; Tamu, Sheba, True Grit and Delightful Delilah. Skip was Predeceased by his parents Lee and Sylvia Clancy, his brother Dan Clancy and one great granddaughter. His celebration of life will be held on Friday May 17, 2019 at 12:30 pm at the Jerusalem of Gold in Loveland, Colorado. There will be a reception following his celebration of life at Jerusalem of Gold fellowship hall. There will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be sent in Linda Clancy's name to Goes Funeral Care Services.
