Dominic D. R. Linam

d. Apr 7, 2025

Dominic David Rene "Dom" Linam, age 21, passed away in Fort Collins, Colorado, on April 7, 2025. Born on November 12, 2003, in Loveland, Colorado, Dominic brought light and energy to every space he entered and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Raised in Northern Colorado, Dominic attended Polaris EL School from Kindergarten through 10th grade and graduated from Centennial High School. He had recently planned to return to college in the fall of 2025 to study engineering, a field that reflected his deep curiosity and fascination with how things work.

From a young age, Dominic was captivated by motion and mechanics. He loved trains and construction equipment and eagerly waved at trash truck workers each week. His early motorcycle rides around the block, with his dad running behind him, were cherished moments of joy and pride.

Dominic began practicing karate at six and later excelled in stick fighting, earning a national championship title in 2024. His dedication and discipline were hallmarks of his character. He also had a deep love for animals, beginning with his bond with Patsy, his sister's cat, and extending to his enjoyment of horseback riding.

In recent years, Dominic became an active member of the Northern Colorado Motorcycle community. As a planner and organizer, he helped foster a vibrant network of riders united by shared passion and camaraderie.

He also found joy in anime, especially Naruto, which inspired many of his tattoos—each symbolizing strength and identity. He also enjoyed the Star Wars movies and books.

Dominic is lovingly remembered by his parents Laurine and David Linam; birth parents Marissa Chapman Ruiz and Jose Cruz III; sisters Lilianne Parr (John) and Alyssa Linam; birth siblings Aaniyah, Amira, Azi, Azjianah, Asher, Damian, Izel, Kaylub, Braydon, Jayden, and Adrian; birth grandparents Carla Payte, Jennifer Hansen, and Jose Cruz II; aunt Shawna (Travis) LaBonne; uncle Josh Cruz; aunt Janine Peters; and many others whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Ralph and Catherine Moshier; OT and Cynthia Linam; and uncles Craig Moshier and Ralph Scott Moshier.

There will be a viewing for family at 3 PM and for anyone else who would like to go from 4 to 5 PM on Monday, April 14, at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Dr UNIT E, Fort Collins.

Dominic's Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, April 15, at Block One Events at 428 Linden St in Fort Collins starting at 5:30.

Dominic's life was full of movement—on motorcycles and horses, through martial arts forms and community gatherings—and his spirit remains in motion through the memories he created. May his memory bring comfort to all who carry him in their hearts.
