DON STANLEY SAILORS aged 76 of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, died Tuesday, September 7, 2015, at Pathways Hospice Care in Loveland, Colorado.

Don was born April 19, 1939, in Ouray, Colorado, the eldest child of Stanley and Louise Sailors. He grew up in Wyoming and graduated valedictorian from Thermopolis High School in 1956. Don was also a fine musician and his greatest joy was playing tuba with the Salt Creek Jazz Band of Casper, Wyoming. Don was Western Division Manager when he retired from Marathon in Houston, Texas, to pursue golf in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. During retirement Don volunteered on the Board at Fox Acres Country Club and was treasurer of the Red Feather Fire Protection District. He and Bette attended The Chapel in the Pines. He enjoyed adding a humorous twist to conversations. He was earnest in his desire to always do the right thing.
