Donald Leroy Clifton

Donald Leroy Clifton was born January 27,1932 in Hayden Colorado to Thelma and James Clifton. He passed away on October 11, 2024 in Loveland Colorado. Donald married Bonnie Dunn on July 1, 1951 in Craig Colorado . Bonnie proceeded Donald in death on April 2, 2022. They were married for 71 years. Donald and Bonnie had five children. Tina Johnson of Fort Collins Colo, Carl Clifton of Loveland Colorado, Ko (Angie) Clifton of Firestone Colorado, Cindy (Jack) South of Eaton Colorado and Sandy Wells (Dave) of Severance Colorado. Donald had 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great children. Donald was an entrepreneur in many different professions. He was part owner of the Ford Garage in Craig Colorado along with owning three different restaurants and a furniture store. Donald was county commissioner for Moffat county for 8 years and then appointed by Governor Roy Romer to sit on the Colorado Board of Assessment Appeals. He was the best husband, father, grand father and friend to many.
