Donald Ray Hannon, 75 passed away peacefully January 29, 2017. Don was born on Mother's Day, May 11, 1941 to Bill and Margaret (Gloyd) Hannon in Thermopolis, Wyoming. He was raised by his grandparents in Ohio.
In the Spring of 1970, he met JoAnn Grummert; they were married on February 27, 1977 in Out Post Junction, California. Don was a deep-sea diver and a truck driver. He said many times that he had been everywhere! Upon returning to Colorado in 1986, be became a very creative, custom jeweler, handing his business card to everyone he met. He enjoyed 'rock hounding', hunting, fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Hannon. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; his beloved dog, Cleo; his brother, Harold (Herk) Hannon of Yakima, Washington; six nieces and four nephews and his very good friend Phil.
Don donated his body to Science Care to help others. No services are planned at this time.
