Donald Daniel White, 83, of Fort Collins was called home by our Lord on Dec. 16, 2008. He was born on April 29, 1925 to George and Mary Helen White in Edgewater, Colorado. He married Audrey White on May 30, 1970. They shared 38 years together. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Audrey; brothers, Harold, George and John; sister Ruth; sons Donald and Butch; daughter Judy; grandsons Nikki and James; and great-grandchild Kaitlyn. He is survived by children, Bill, Robert, Darlene, Barbara, and Rhonda; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother, Steve. Don was in the US Navy and served in World War II. He and his wife ran several businesses in and around Fort Collins including: White's Electronics and Supermarket, White's Towing, and the original Ted's Place. Don took great pride in his family and always did his best to make sure they were taken care of. One of his favorite sayings was "One thing we can take to heart is if someone needs help, we should do our best to help them". He was the greatest man we will ever know. Funeral services will he held at 1:00 pm Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at Unity Church of Fort Collins. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Monday at the church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery with full military honors.
