Donna M. Rumler

Donna Marie Rumler, died peacefully at home in Fort Collins, on January 31th, 2025, She was born on January 2, 1934, The first baby of the New Year, in Ogalala, NE to Emil and Mernie Fahrlander. The family moved to Milford, NE where she attended school and later married George Rumler. To this union were born two sons and a daughter. Donna worked as a nurse at Sunrise Country Manor for many years.

In 1994, following her husband's death, she moved to a cherished family cabin in Garfield, CO where she enjoyed several years of mountain top living before moving to Fort Collins, CO in 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, son John, Grandson Jason, brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Donna Fahrlander. Survivors include, son James (Emerita) Rumler of Denver, daughter Jeanne (Ron) Tickle of Wendell, NC sister, Linda Hoeltke of Corrales, NM, sister, Nancy (Lee) Lindsay- Johnson of Anamosa, IA, granddaughter-in-law, Jamie Rumler of Larue, TX, grandchildren, Chris and Jeff Tickle, step-grandchildren, Gia, Hannah, Ryan. Great grandchildren, Lucas and Annabelle Rumler, step great grandchildren, Angelique, Brayden, Harper and many nieces, nephews and friends. Per her request, there will be no service.
