Doris Clouse

Doris Clouse, born in Chicago, IL, to Florence and Arthur Knutson on September 3rd, 1927, died peacefully in Fort Collins, CO, on March 8th, 2023. Preceded in death by Derrold Clouse, her husband of 61 years. Mother to Jim Clouse of Seattle, WA, and Laurel Bravdica of Fort Collins, CO; grandmother to Matthew Bowker of Boston, MA, and Casey Clouse of Seattle, WA; and great-grandmother to Quinn and Theodora. A longtime resident of Centennial, CO, Doris was a treasured member of her community. A daily walker of the Dry Creek Trail, Doris was eager to explore the world around her. She was an avid reader and loved baking, cross-stich, gardening and playing the piano. Independent, resilient, and caring, Doris delighted in helping others through her volunteer work and service to the church. She loved the mountains, especially their fall colors. Memorial Service to be held at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 South Colorado Blvd, June 16th, 2023, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wellshire Presbyterian Church.
