Doris Wilson

Doris was born in Bigfork Minnesota to Mable Elvina (Lien) James and Martin Rudolph Bang. She grew up in Minnesota and North Dakota. She eventually made the move to Colorado when she was a teenager. There she met Richard Wayne Wilson and they were married January 7, 1964. They had four children.

She and Wayne spent much of their life training thoroughbred race horses and subsequently traveled and lived all over the United States until eventually settling in Windsor, CO in 1985. They made their final home in Nunn, CO where they lived for eleven years.

Doris is survived by two daughters Deborah Morrison and her husband Quin Morrison of Windsor, CO and Marcella Wilson of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by her son Michael Wilson and his wife Jennifer Wilson of Eaton, CO. She has nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Wayne Wilson, son Ritchie Wilson, and grandson Seth Wilson.

A memorial service will be held in the spring at one of Doris and Wayne's favorite fishing spots, Lake John in Walden, CO.
