Dorothy Lucille Bath

Dorothy Lucille Bath, 88 of Frederick, formerly of Fort Morgan, departed this life on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She peacefully past away in her sleep at home; Mother gently left this life and entered into the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ.

Dorothy was born July 16, 1926 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to John and Christine Bauer. She was raised with her brothers; Albert, John Jr., Harry and Edward along with her sister, Helen Sheppard and step-brother Thomas Bath. All of her siblings are deceased, Dorothy was the youngest.

Dorothy married Harry H. Bath in 1946 and together they took great pride in raising their family in Fort Morgan. Dorothy was a homemaker until 1964, when they moved to Denver. She began her new life, working at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver and then later, she became the proud, co-owner of Blue Barrel Disposal Company in Denver. After 58 years of marriage, sadly Harry passed away in 2004. Dorothy dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by five children and two step-children; her son, David E. Bath, and daughters, Judith C. Kittelson, Diane Rae Bath, Jacqueline Kay Ashley and Pamela J. (Douglas) Freel. Her step-children, Spencer Bath and Sarah Bath (Aaron) Salzman with their children, Aishlin, Caiden and Skyler.. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren ; Lisa (Cody) Schopfer, with their children, Drake and Cameron; Laura Bath; Deann (Jeremy) Young, with their children, Jeren, Kenna and Kelly; Cori (James) Hancock, with their child, Finley; Steve Knaus and Andrea Knaus.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Resurrection Fellowship, 6502 E. Crossroads Blvd., Loveland, Colorado. Interment will be in Fort Morgan Cemetery.
