Doug Strom

Doug Strom, 68, of Berthoud Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. He was born June 25, 1957, to DuWayne and Shirley Strom in Elbow Lake Minnesota. Doug moved to Billings Montana early in his childhood and graduated from Billings West High School, graduating class of 1977. He married Theresa (Myers) Strom on February 2, 1985, in Billings Montana. Doug was inventive and entrepreneurial, moving to Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1985 where he built, owned and operated Strom's Incorporated, a nickel-chrome plating company for more than 20 years. He was awarded patents in the manufacturing, electroplating, and wastewater treatment industries. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; sons, Brandon (Narda), Ryan and Trent; grandchildren, Benjamin; siblings, Larry (Sally) Strom and Shelly (Daryl) Kudrna and many other extended family members and friends. Doug was known for his strong work ethic and kind soul, and he will be dearly missed.
