Douglas Bengford

Douglas M. Bengford, 52 of Lakewood , Colorado passed away at his home on July 27th, 2011. Doug was born on January 2nd, 1959 in Fort Collins Colorado to Leonard and JoAnn Bengford. Doug grew up in Fort Collins and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1977. He then went on to attend CSU and graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He practiced Veterinary Medicine in both California and Colorado from his graduation to present time. Doug is survived by his two sons Tyler Bengford, 18 and Mitchell Bengford, 16. He is also survived by his parents Leonard and JoAnn Bengford; his brother Greg Bengford; his two sisters Kelly Lewis and Cheryl Bengford; and several nephews. Contributions in his honor may be made out to the animal shelter of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 1, 2011 at Blessed John 23rd University Parish.
