Douglas Todd Bullard

Douglas Todd Bullard was born on August 15, 1950 and passed away December 14, 2023 unexpectedly.

He started his life journey in Denver, and spent his childhood in Colorado. He ventured into the Coast Guard and had many adventures in the South Pacific, Hawaii, and the Northern California Coast.

Doug started his career in carpentry as an apprentice and became a Master Carpenter. He was meticulous in his attention to detail and very passionate about his craft. His clients said he had the ability to visualize a completed project before he even started.

His passions were Fishing, Westerns, and baking. All of these varied hobbies and interests have left many memories of Christmas morning banana pancakes, Gus references from Lonesome Dove, and of course digging up worms for fishing.

Doug was a lifelong learner and dedicated to teaching and passing on his knowledge. He was a mentor to many young carpenters and always willing to help others.

His later years were filled with spending time with his family and grandchildren. His carpentry skills continued with projects and home improvements.

In the end, his health would not allow him to fully participate in what he loved in this life. His strong faith in the lord will guide him through on his next journey.

Dougism's we fondly remember: Old tired and pissed off, Some people's kids, I'm going to see a man about a horse, Oops I stepped on a frog, Git-R-Done, and Lights out parties over.

He is predeceased by parents William and Donna Bullard and brother Greg Bullard. Doug is survived by his siblings; Steve Bullard, Becky Ochsner and Tim Bullard, his children; Jason Bullard, Kim Bullard and Cassy Bullard (Ryan Walker), and grandchildren: Jamie, McKenzie, Raquel and Melisa Bullard as well as Cameron and Gavin Walker.

Viewing/Visitation will take place from 4-6PM on Thursday, December 21 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive Suite E, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
