E. Joel Moreno

d. Oct 23, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Joel Moreno, who departed this life on October 23, 2024. Born in 1968, Joel lived a life full of warmth, resilience, and devotion. Those who knew him best would describe him as a wonderful grandfather, whose legacy of kindness and courage will surely live on.

Joel had a love for leisure activities, most particularly fishing and camping. The hours he spent by the water were not only a favored pastime but also a joyful moment he immensely liked to share with his grandkids. Let's not forget his love for his favorite team Denver Broncos! His commitment to the important causes in his life was unequaled, with his grandchildren standing at the forefront of his endeavors. To Joel, his grandkids were his greatest accomplishments, and his love for them was boundless.

Joel was predeceased by his beloved wife, Luz Maria Moreno Palacios, and his dear mother, Maria Reyes Delgado. He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memory his four daughters: Venessa, Caritina, Stephanie, Alexia Moreno and his son Nick. And his beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Moonlight, Cortez, Esperanza, Noah, Luna, and Anya. His strength and love have had an immeasurable impact on them, and his memory will continue to guide them throughout their lives.

Joel was a man rich in love and kindness. His resilient spirit, his love for his family, and his legacy of courage will forever be remembered by his loved ones and by those fortunate enough to have known him.

As we say farewell to Joel Moreno, it is comforting to remember his well-lived life, his compassion, his dedication to his loved ones, and the warmth he brought into the world. He was more than a devoted grandfather; he was a beacon of love and resilience, and he will be profoundly missed.

Caritina- "That smile can make the whole room happy, made me feel that I was more than loved, protected, safe. You had stories for days; I remember each and every one. How funny you were, had me laughing like a hyena. You would be so mad cuz I couldn't stop and then id get all my sisters laughing that you couldn't help but laugh as well. Growing up you would take us to the #1 Chinese buffet on college, that was your spot. We could sit there for a while, eating all the crab legs, laughing, eating, happy, being all together. And gosh did you love your Broncos papa, always represent as well as our last name, Moreno. Never goodbye, I'll see you later. When the time is right. I love you dad."

Stephanie- "A piece of my world is gone without you here. Your love was one of the Purest loves I'm so thankful to have experienced. You loved me so much, and you told me every day. l'm going to miss that. l'm going to miss your stories, your hugs, and your dreams. I will raise Noah telling him what an amazing genuine, loving grandpa he had in life. We will never forget you, my good sir. I know you're with your Mom and with the love of your life, finally reunited my beautiful Mom. Will miss you, Dad so so much."

Venessa- "Dad, I will never forget the devotion and love you have for your grandkids. You are the definition of being the best grandpa in the whole wide world. We will miss you and will always keep your memory alive. I love you dad."

Alexcia- "Dad ,I think back at our conversations and it was always me asking you questions about your thoughts and opinions on life and you always had a good story behind every answer that made the conversation interesting. I loved the day you to us to where you grew up and told us about the adventures you and your buddies would go on. I love how easily inspired you'd get when you'd think up a crazy new future Creation. I'll never forget all the mountain drives we'd take and how beautiful and peaceful those days were ... I know we all were broken after mom passed but you stayed so strong and showed me that if you just believe you can do something you'll eventually get it down .I love you with all my heart dad and I'm going to miss you till we meet again."
