Edna Jean Roberts, 83, of Fort Collins, Colorado and formerly of Canton and Kankakee, Illinois, died April 28, 2016 at a hospice in Loveland, CO.
Edna Jean Elliott was born on September 26, 1932 in Peoria, Illinois to Earl and Edith Elliott. She held various positions while living in Canton and Kankakee before concluding her career at Sammy's Pizza in Kankakee. Jean lived a good portion of her life in Canton and moved to Kankakee in 1980. In 2014, following the death of her husband Berlyn "Squeak" Roberts, Jean moved to Fort Collins to be closer to her family.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Berlyn Roberts; brother, Alan Elliott; and sister, Betty Adams. She is survived by her son, Michael Roberts and his wife, Patricia; and sister, Nancie Thompson and her husband, James.
