Elizabeth "Betty" Marie Andersen

Elizabeth "Betty" Marie Andersen entered eternal life 7/1/2015, after a life well lived with much love and devotion. Born in Rockford, Illinois on 5/19/1926, her family moved to California toward the end of the Great Depression. She graduated from Holy Family High School, Glendale, California in 1944 and worked for Douglas Aircraft during WWII.

Active in her children's schools, sports and 4-H clubs, she was a wonderful mother and devout Catholic. Betty earned her A.A. Degree at the age of 65; thoroughly loving the freedom to learn. Since moving to Fort Collins in 1987, she worked at TJ MAXX and volunteered with the St. Joseph's hospitality committee.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Andersen (1995) and two previous husbands (Elmes and Keever).

Betty is survived by her children, Charlene (Bob) Malone; Jeff Andersen; Teresa (Martin) Foltin; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
