Emily Miller

Emily Anne Miller, age 14 months, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at her home due to neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer, which was diagnosed this past March. Throughout the many months of treatment her gentle and enduring spirit shone through and she was rarely without a smile. During her short time with us, she filled our lives with much laughter and joy. Emily was born May 27, 2008 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins to Nancy (Kantor) and Jay Miller. She was the baby sister of Allison. In addition to her parents and sister, Emily leaves to mourn her passing her paternal grandmother, Mary Anne Miller; aunts and uncles, Susan and Jon Blatt, Joyce and Bill Lockhart, Jeff and Joy Miller and Mike and Denise Miller; and her cousins, Michael, Kathleen, Alexander, Christian, Zeke, Marissa, Isabelle and Alex. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 5450 South Lemay Ave., Fort Collins.
