Ernest Jacob Croissant

Ernest Jacob Croissant (Butch) passed away October 10, 2018. He was 87. He was born in DePue, Illinois and graduated from DePue High School. He was proud to serve in the Marines, then worked for the Village of DePue. He married Judith A. Peterson in 1957 and they had three sons. In 1972, they moved to Colorado where Ernest worked for East Larimer County Water District and became the manager. He retired in 1991. He enjoyed photography, fishing, camping, meteorology, and the wonderful mountains. He spent many years working on the genealogy of the Croissant family. He is survived by his wife, Judith, and three sons, Martin, Randall, and Peter. He was preceded in Death by his father, Henry Jacob Croissant, his mother Rose Mary Lehman Croissant, six sisters and six brothers. There will be an informal memorial gathering on Saturday, October 20th from 2 - 4pm at Goes Funeral Care 3665 Canal Dr. Suite E, Fort Collins.
