Tina Esteves, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11 in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Tina was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1923, lived in Portugal and immigrated to The United States in 1964. Tina was a special and unique lady with a great sense of humor. She made friends with everyone she met. She loved gardening, listening to music, taking bus rides around the city, and visiting with friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing and playing games. She loved to talk about her life and the time she lived in Brazil and was proud of her work as a nurse there. After moving to the US, Tina worked as a care-giver and volunteered in hospitals over the years.
Tina is survived by her daughter, Judy Borba, and son-in law, Pete Borba III of Ft. Collins, Colorado, sister, Odete Rocha, grandchildren, Lisa McPherson and husband Craig, Pete Borba IV, Jeanene Borba, and five great-grandchildren, Austin Beaty, Ashley Beaty, Cole McPherson, Olivia McPherson and Samantha Gordon.
