Evan G. Meloney, age 71 of Fort Collins, died September 20, 2013 at Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins.
Born September 30, 1941 in Sterling, CO to Evan and Betty Meloney, he married Marcia F. Bloomfield on August 28th, 1965. They moved to Fort Collins in 1967 where he worked for Woodward Governor for 45 years retiring in 2010.
Evan enjoyed the game of golf and also enjoyed working and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia; his brother, Sam (and Sandy) Meloney of Gering, Nebraska; in-laws, Connie (and Dudley) Martens, Janet Gordon, Carter (and Ann) Bloomfield and Frank (and Rosie) Bloomfield.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Saturday, Sept. 28th at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Suite E, Fort Collins. Please go to goesfuneralcare.com to share memories and/or condolences to Evan's family.
