Frank Coleman Stanek was born July 22, 1958 to Frank and Betty Stanek. He was the younger brother to Sue (Mat) and Nancy (Tom) and the proud big brother to Mark Stanek.
He was born in Pennsylvania, then moved to New Mexico as a child. His family moved to Arizona in the 70s. He spent the last 20 years of his life in Laporte, CO.
While in Arizona he graduated from Westwood High School in 1976. He then went on to marry his first wife and have two children. He later married again and had two more children. During that time he started his home refinishing business, Good Wood Refinishing. He took much pride in his craftsmanship and woodwork. He was a master pressman, working in the pressing industry for many years before shifting to water treatment for a community near his home for the last 16 years.
He leaves behind his three siblings, father, and step mother. He has his four children that will miss him deeply; Melissa (JJ), Frank, Jordan, and Katie. Along with his children he has 6 grandchildren, Dominic, Sydney, Payton, Christopher, Kayden, and Jocilynne (Jossi as he called her).
He enjoyed living life and the outdoors of Northern Colorado. He loved to sit outside and catch up with all of his friends that he has made along the years. When there was a NASCAR race on, he was guaranteed to be watching it. If there was ever a need (or not) for a "dad joke", he was guaranteed to supply it. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles through the canyons of Colorado with his "biker buddies". He had many talents and one of his favorite hobbies was tinkering in the garage on his trucks or motorcycles.
He was a loving son, father, and brother. Everyone loved his sense of humor and laughing with him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Betty, who we know met him with open and lovingly arms to welcome him to his new journey.
