Freda Darling Linder

Freda Darling Linder, born March 2, 1928, passed peacefully February 26, 2015. Beloved wife of Dr. Robert O. Linder, devoted Mother of Bradford and Cynthia, adored Grandmother of Hanna, Rachel, Benjamin, Keaton, and loving Great-grandmother to Maya, Joaquin, and Pascale.
Freda was raised in a loving family from Loudonville Ohio. Her Mother Pauline and Father Ira Jay Darling raised Stanton her brother, and sisters Marion and Jocelyn. Freda attended school in Loudonville and after high school graduation, attended one year of college at Capital University in Ohio. She then met and later married Dr. Robert Otto Linder, then a lieutenant colonel in the Army. Shortly after their marriage Freda and Bob were deployed to Stuttgart Germany in the post World War Two occupation of Germany by allied forces. In this time Bob and Freda were able to travel throughout Europe. Upon returning to the United States Freda and Bob eventually moved the family to Aurora, Colorado in 1955. Bob entered medical school and Freda made a home for the family and supported Bob in his pursuit of a medical degree.
Bob and Freda enjoyed traveling together and were 30 year Bronco season ticket holders. Freda was very involved in the choir at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Aurora singing lead soprano where her lovely voice could be heard for over forty years.
No Services will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
