Gary M. Atkins

Gary Michael Atkins (49years old) passed away unexpectedly at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado on September 1, 2025. Gary was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Elyssia, his daughter, was and is the light in his life. She filled his life with love and laughter. Gary enjoyed hiking, camping and fishing with his son-in-law, Jake and grandson, Landon. When Gary wasn't outdoors, he enjoyed rough housing, laughing and helping his grandson, Landon with homework. Gary was so full of life, whenever he walked into a room, the room would light up. When having a conversation with him, no matter who it was, you could always expect him to be cracking jokes. Along with jokes, Gary was known for arguing. Arguing was like a second language to him. When you were with Gary, the world felt a little less empty. Losing him was very unexpected. Gary you will be missed more than words can explain. Gary is survived by his daughter Elyssia (Jake) Provost and grandson Landon. Parents, Val (Sid) Harris. Brothers Scott Atkins and Jim (Keri) Atkins. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
