Georgia Ruth Tidd

Georgia R. Tidd, age 97, of Sebring, FL and Fort Collins, CO, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. She was born in northern Missouri on July 18, 1920 to George R. and Alice L. McGregor.
She and Gail "Lefty" N. Tidd were married January 25, 1942. Georgia was the ambassador and business manager for Lefty's square dance calling business. Square dancing enabled them to make many wonderful friends through the years.
She was an active member of the Methodist Churches in both Jackson, MO and Sebring, FL for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son, Charles Preston Tidd, her parents, and five sisters. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Georgia is survived by her three sons, Larry N. (Diane) Tidd of Jackson, MO; Tom (Mindy) Tidd of Fort Collins, CO; and Greg Tidd of Mountain Home, ID; grandsons Randy Tidd and Ryan Tidd; and granddaughters Christina Tidd and Jillian Vogel; great-grandchildren Daniel and Katrina Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Collinwood Assisted Living in Fort Collins, CO.
