Georjean "Jo" Moyer

Jo Moyer, Beloved mother, grandmother and friend went to be with her savior June 30, 2026, at the age of 100.

Georjean "Jo" Moyer, named after her father George Underhill and mother Jeanette Underhill, was born January 7, 1926, in Elgin Illinois

Jo's employment included "putting tiny gears in watches" at the Elgin watch factory and being an illustrator for the 1950s animation of Pilgrim's Progress. Jo attended Wheaton College.

Jo married William "Bill" Moyer on August 19th, 1949, in Wheaton Il. Bill was a building contractor and Jo was a homemaker. Jo was an active volunteer with Pioneer Girls and Pioneer Girls Camp, and the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.

Bill retired in 1977 and they moved to Estes Park CO to be in their beloved Rocky Mountains. Jo volunteered in the Estes Park Forest Service Office. She also enjoyed knitting, quilting, hiking and fishing.

Jo and Bill moved to Good Samaritan Village in Loveland CO in 2000 where she became active in the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her daughters Cynthia, Sandra, and Sheri.
She is survived by her daughters Kristie (John) Moyer-Manion of Queensland, AU and La Crosse WI, Bonnie (Jim) Trammell of Ft Lupton, CO, and son Dan (Denny) Moyer of Loveland, as well as 9 grand and step-grandchildren and 11 great and step-great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life services will be on Friday, July 17 at 11:00am at Loveland Good Samaritan Village Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jo's name to the Ensight Skills Center in Ft Collins.
