Gerald (Jerry) Mordini

Gerald Peter Mordini, "Jerry", age 83 of Fort Collins, passed away on December 18, 2021.

Jerry was born May 21, 1938 in Oregon to parents Peter and Gretchen Mordini. He grew up in Illinois and graduated from Highland Park High School before enlisting in the United States Army. In the years that followed his service, he began Auto Body work and focused on raising his three children. In 1976, the family relocated to Loveland. It was while attending church in Loveland that he met Deniele Mitchell and the two were married June 29, 1982. They spent 40 beautiful years together.

Jerry was a rugged man. He loved being outdoors – camping, hunting, and fishing. He loved his family and especially enjoyed being around his grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Deniele Mordini; children, Kelly Brosio, James Mordini, and Joe Mordini; step-sons, Greg Mitchell and Jason Mitchell; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 10 am, Saturday, January 15 at Christ Church of the Rockies in Loveland (310 N. Cleveland Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537).
