Gilbert Arthur Naranjo, 91, of Windsor, died July 15, 2018.
Gil was born in Manassa, Colorado in 1926. He and siblings Dan Lucero, Joe Curby and Julia Herrera, grew up in Colorado.
In 1972, Gil was married to Mary and the two enjoyed many years together. Gilbert enjoyed life! He loved to fish, hunt, play board games, visit casinos and go dancing. He was a devoted Catholic and will be missed by those in his faith community.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Mary Naranjo; children, Gilberta Orozco, Bryon Richardson, Veronica, Jackie, Stella, Sam, Jose, Ron, Frank, Rick, Denise, and Richard; grandchildren, Michelle Galvan, Manuel Galvan, Monica Martinez, Maria Feeser, Aracely Orozco, Aldo Orozco, Nathan Richardson, Bryon Richardson, Nicole Chavez, Tina Richardson, Tabitha Richardson, Breanna Barcenas, Kristina Martinez, Chelsea Martinez, Guillermo Orozco, Andrea Orozco, and many more.
He was preceded in death by children, Debbie, Jessie and Verg; grandson, Junior; brother, Dan Lucero; in-laws, Lucy Sanchez and Julian Sanchez; and his favorite dog, Tuesday.
Thank you to all who cared for Gil, including those at the Pathways Hospice Care Center.
A visitation and viewing will take place at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, July 17 at Goes Funeral Care in Fort Collins. Graveside service and burial at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 18 at the Eaton Cemetery.
