Gloria Jeune

Gloria Ann Ricker Jeune was born September 12, 1931, in Kinnelon, New Jersey, to Elmer Ricker and Etta Mae O'Dell Ricker. She graduated from Butler High School in Butler, New Jersey, in 1949. She married Donald Jeune that same year and resided in Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Gloria was a homemaker and an amazing mother to her three daughters. She began her working career when her daughters began attending middle school. Her first employment was an office position in Boonton, New Jersey. She eventually began working for the Kinnelon School District and remained in their employment until she and her husband moved to Colorado in 1976. She was began working at the University of Colorado in Boulder and retired from there in 1991. Gloria and Donald moved to Estes Park when Donald retired in 1993 where they remained until they moved to Florida in 2005. They returned to Colorado in 2010 and lived in Parker, caring for their terminally ill daughter, before settling in Fort Collins in 2011 where Donald still resides.
Gloria was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She loved gardening, camping, and wildlife. She enjoyed watching birds and spent as much time as she could enjoying the Rocky Mountains and traveling throughout the Midwest.

Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Darlene Fryberger. She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Donald, her daughters Donna Kautz (Robert) and Randi Jeune, her sister Diana Kemp (Kenneth), her six grandchildren, Ryan Vigh, Angela Kellerman (Matthew), Troy Vigh, Briana Kautz, Brandon Fryberger, and Lauren Fryberger, and five great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in remembrance of Gloria to the Larimer Humane Society in Fort Collins, Colorado.
