Hal Saiger, age 89, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022. His last moments were spent in comfort, with his family by his side. In life, Hal had a great passion for people, which unquestionably drove him on from his first moment to his last.
As a young man, he served his country with distinction in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, only to come home where he continued to help others during a long and successful career in sales. Hal was a paragon in his field for nearly 57 years, earning himself a prestigious reputation, not only as a leading representative for places such as American Metal and Home Depot, but as a trusted friend to his community, who put people ahead of profits. He even devoted much of his free time to working with children in the California Rangers, a non-profit equestrian organization.
Hal had a story for every occasion and a smile that rarely wavered. Though above all else, he was a devoted husband and loving father. Hal is survived by his wife of 50 years, his four children, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. There will be no official service, though Hal's family would urge you to take a moment and remember him as the kind and selfless person that he was.
