Harry R. Peters, 88, died peacefully Monday, November 25, 2019 at his residence. He was the husband of Arlene L. Peters (Boettcher) for over 64 years.
Born February 16, 1931 in York, PA to the late George F. and Fannie M. (Seeger) Peters, he is survived by his children Jean Peters of Gilbert, AZ, Sandy Peters (Bernie Haberle) of Conifer, CO, Linda Chapman (Steve) of Fort Collins, CO, and Stan Peters of Castle Rock, CO; and grandchildren Matthew Peters, Christopher Peters and Samantha Peters; brother Warren Peters and sister Susan Peters, both of York, PA.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Edward, Floyd, M. Lavere, and Charles; sisters Gertie Stough, Sylvia Landis, Hilda Ruth, Eleanora Henise, Florence Peters, Idonna Miller, Alice Peters and Leona Peters.
He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and John Deere tractors. He served in the US Army and was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church (305 E Elizabeth St., Fort Collins, CO) where a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
