Helen Ph.D

Helen  Hendricks, Ph.D., age 73 of Fort Collins, formerly of San Francisco died August 19th.  Cremation has been completed and no service is planned here. Helen Elizabeth Hendricks was born June 17, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Meredith and Maude Hendricks.  She graduated from nursing school in Chicago and soon after, moved to San Francisco.  Her interests led her into Psychology and she began working in private practice.  Helen also taught nursing at the University of San Francisco and the University of California at San Francisco.  She continued her education until completing her PhD. in 1988 in Psychology from the California Graduate School.  Helen was a very social person with many friends.  She was also active in AA and recently passed her 30th year of sobriety. Mother of Rachel (and Scott) Blunk of Ft. Collins; grandmother of Calvin and Claire; and sister of Patricia Hendricks of San Francisco; and dear friend of Pat Miller and Pat Pingle.
