Imelda (Milly) Ann Peatrowsky of Fort Collins went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1934 in West Point, NE to Adolph and Margaret Kriekemeier. She grew up on a farm in West Point until she married Leonard Peatrowsky on February 19, 1955. They lived on the farm until they moved to Ft Collins in 1957. Leonard and Milly were blessed with six wonderful children.
She enjoyed being a homemaker for several years. She taught 4-H sewing, knitting, cooking, and canning for a number of years. She also judged in the 4-H program. We have fond memories of her great cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and the occasional shopping trip. She liked early morning walks, gardening during the day, and spent many evenings sewing, knitting and crocheting. She spent a majority of her retired years traveling to see her children and grandchildren in Europe and the states.
She was a professional seamstress at Brody Furs. Then went on to spend a number of years managing a close family friend's household. Followed by 21 years as a hairdresser for Good Samaritan Retirement Village where she spent her days bringing joy to the residents.
Milly was born into the Catholic faith and was a very devout member her entire life. Her favorite prayer was saying the Rosary.
Mom, Grandma, Aunt and friend, we are very blessed to have had you in our lives. You are very much loved and will be greatly missed.
