Iona Small

Iona Small, 89, a long-time resident of Lemay Ave. Health & Rehab in Ft. Collins, died January 28, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, Feb. 1st at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive , Suite E, Ft. Collins . Iona Veda Small was born in Hahn, Missouri on July 26, 1921 and married Howard Wallace Small in Pekin, Illinois in 1965. They lived in Fort Collins since the mid 1970's until Howard died in 1998. Her health later required the move into Columbine Care Center East, which was relocated to Lemay Ave. Iona is the beloved step-mother of Eileen Page McGarry of Park Ridge, IL. She is also survived by her dear friends, Nancy Ball and Carla Kelly; a loving nephew, Tim Mercer; her step-son, Ron Small; and her many friends on the Lemay Avenue staff who cared for her the past 10 years.
