Irene Lovato Deitrick, age 60 of Ft. Collins, Colorado passed away peacefully after an 8 month battle with pancreatic cancer at home on Feb. 14, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 20th in the South Auditorium of Timberline Church, 2908 Timberline Road, Ft. Collins. Irene Lovato was born March 22, 1951 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Lloyd and Ruby Apodaca Lovato. She grew up in Lyman, NE and attended Laramie County Community College and lived formerly in Wyoming and Arizona prior to settling in Loveland in 1979. Her first marriage was to Danny Stillwell with whom she had three children. In August of 2000, she married Bob Deitrick and has lived in Fort Collins ever since. Irene had an iron will and unmatched drive when it came to her children; nothing was ever more important to her than them; but, that was until her grandchildren came along. Her love for her grandchildren was awe inspiring and a true life lesson for all that knew her. Her legacy is how she always put others first in her life. Irene worked formerly at McKee Medical Center in Loveland and has worked the past 22 years or so in Central Supply at Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins. She was an active member of Timberline Church in Ft. Collins where she participated with the Prime Timers and in some small Bible Study groups. Irene enjoyed softball and fishing and quilting and had a huge heart for, and helped many foster children. She had a strong faith, and an incredible love for the Lord and her family. She is survived by her husband, Bob; three children, Michelle (and Kenny) Bean of Ft. Collins, Jeff Stillwell of New York, NY and Eddie (and Annika) Stillwell of Mount Dora, FL; five grandchildren, Scott, Brody, McKhenna and Sawyer Bean and Sylas Stillwell; 11 brothers and sisters; and three step-children, Dawn (and Ty) Powell of Windsor, CO, Zachary (and Paulina) Deitrick of Ft.
