In 1993, they decided to leave the mid-west and join their daughter Heather in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado where they built their retirement home. Their view of the foothills and mountains of the Rockies is spectacular! Irene worked for over 25 years for the Naperville Sun Newspaper, doing page layout work. She was a gifted seamstress, and artist. Her oil paintings still grace the family home. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Anderson and Elizabeth (Peart) Hall and her son William, Jr. Always a lady, Irene, with her sweet and gentle demeanor, will be missed by all who knew her.
