Jack Willis Regan

Jack Willis Regan, 82, died unexpectedly on March 15, 2014. He was born on November 22, 1931 in Greeley, Colorado to John G. Regan and Vivian Mae Heyer. The family lived in Kersey, Colorado for several years. They subsequently moved to Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where Jack graduated from high school in 1949. He enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after serving in the Korean War.

Jack met his beloved wife, Dorothy Caroline Hardie, in San Francisco, California. They were married for 58 years on December 18, 2013. He attended Colorado State University and retired from the U.S. Forest Service.

Mr. Regan is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; children, Doreen (Rick) Carducci of Limon, Colorado and Jay (Chandra) Regan of Arvada; grandchildren, Linnea (Dan) Mintzer of Marina, California and Penny Regan of Arvada, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Sean Mintzer and Naomi Mintzer; brother, Robert (Betty) Regan of Greeley, Colorado and numerous other relatives and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vivian Regan and brother, Donald Regan.

A time of fellowship and gathering will be held at Goes Funeral Care in Fort Collins from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2014. The Committal Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at 12:15 PM on Friday, March 21, 2014
