James "Jim" Connor

James C. (Jim) Connor 71, Ft. Collins, died May 11th of metastasized small cell lung cancer. Jim was born in Longmeadow, Mass to the late Mary and James Connor. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Rush) Connor, Son, Matthew Connor, daughter, Casey Rae Connor, grandkids, Breck Alan and Lily Ray Connor. Also by siblings, Alice (Rick) O'Neil, David Connor, Paul (Vickie) Connor and Ginny (Ron) Dendivel. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters-in-law and the "group of guys he grew up with in Longmeadow." Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Connor.

In 1978 Jim moved from Wellfleet, Mass to Greeley, CO and began selling cars. He moved to Ft. Collins in 1987 where he joined his second family at Dellenbach Motors. He worked at Dellenbach for 33 years.

Jim loved sports. Everything golf, anything related to his beloved Red Sox, Celtics, U. Conn teams to the Denver Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, Avs and CSU teams. He made friends easily and for life. Jim's New England accent, unique story telling and dousing abilities as well as his love of family, sports, friends and life, will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 31, 2022 at Collindale CB & Potts, 1441 E. Horsetooth Rd., Fort Collins, CO.
