Jamie Wirshborn

Jamie Wirshborn, age 45, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2026. Jamie was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather to-be (Jan 2027), brother, uncle, friend, whose kindness, loyalty, humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of many.

Jamie was born on November 16, 1980 to Jim and Chere in Fort Collins. He attended Laurel Elementary and Lesher Jr. High School. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Collins. He was the owner and operator of Wirshborn Custom Painting, proudly serving families and businesses throughout Northern Colorado. Jamie was known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to providing for those he loved.
As a young kid, he enjoyed camping, fishing, biking and skateboarding. A fighter in every sense of the word, Jamie fell in love with boxing as a teenager. He won a Golden Gloves State Championship for his weight class.

Outside of work, Jamie's family was the most important part of his life. He loved spending time with his wife, kids, nieces and nephews. Jamie found joy in fishing, especially alongside his son, Jeremiah. He enjoyed woodworking and took great pride in creating handmade gifts for family and friends. He loved spending time with those closest to him, working out, and sharing laughs with anyone fortunate enough to be in his company. Most recently, he enjoyed attending Re-Imagine Life Ministries and built many friendships there.

Jamie will be remembered for his big heart, quick wit, and fierce loyalty to the people he loved. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, often putting others before himself. His empathy, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family and friends left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. If you were lucky enough to be part of Jamie's circle, you knew you had someone in your corner no matter what and got to experience his kindness and gentle heart.

Above all else, Jamie loved his son, Jeremiah. He was incredibly proud of him and cherished every moment they spent together. Though life brought Jamie many challenges, his love for Siobhan, Cat, and Jeremiah never wavered and remained one of the greatest constants in his life.

Jamie is survived by his wife Siobhan Mondragon, son Jeremiah, daughter Cat and son-in law Cavan=; his parents Chere Meyers and Jim Wirshborn; sisters, Julianne Curtis and Erin Friedman; and nieces and nephews, Emily, Caleb, Beckett, Ezra, Charlee, Rowan, and Presley.

Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Mary Holder (godmother), and uncle, Alan Wishborn.

While his journey was not always easy, the impact he made on the lives of those who loved him will endure long after his passing. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
