Janet Kay Palmquist, 62, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2021, surrounded by her family. Janet was born on February 20, 1959, to James and Doris (Davis) Palmquist in Rush City, MN. She was brought into a big family filled with love and attended Rush City High School. Janet yearned for independence and moved to Colorado where she could live and make a new life for herself and her children.
Janet enjoyed traveling and camping in the wilderness. You could find Janet treasure hunting often and finding the value in the old and antique. She was also an avid rock and stone collector. She was a free spirit and dedicated to her friends and family. Everyone knew Janet to be full of love and very loyal. That spirit was filled with grief when her daughter, Nikki passed away in 2012. She will be missed immensely.
