Jean Marie "Jeannie" Flynn, 61 of Fort Collins, Colorado, formerly of Grand Junction, CO, died November 8, 2021 at her home.
Jean Marie Sullivant was born in Grand Junction, grew up in Denver, and lived most of her adult life in Grand Junction. She attended Mesa State, Studying Law and was employed for many years at Jerry Otero Law Firm as a legal secretary. She met Tom Flynn in 1989 and they were married on October 13, 1990. Together they have two children, Andrew and Melissa.
Jeannie enjoyed all things having to do with water and the outdoors. She was very athletic. She enjoyed rafting and camping and especially excelled at skiing.
Jeannie was beautiful and had a great sense of humor. She made friends whenever she met someone new.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, Tom; their two children, Andrew Flynn of Fort Collins and Melissa Flynn of Greeley, CO; three sisters, Sally (and Mike) Flynn of Hayden, CO, Mary (and John) Harris of Deer Park, Washington, and Rita Green of Pueblo, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Sullivant and her brother, Johnny Sullivant.
Jeannie had a love for all animals, but especially for her dogs.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, November 18 at Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Fort Collins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 PM Friday, Nov. 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 300 West Mountain Ave., Ft. Collins. Interment will be held privately and later, near her parents and brother in Grand Junction.
